  1. A civilization that traveled who knows how many light years arrived at your
door step and you think you are technologically advanced enough to beat
them? Also they wouldn’t have progressed and survived that far if they are
war loving and not very peaceful.

    • well, im sure that nuclear bomb can destroy anyone & anything that arrives
to earth, its not all about technology .. and i think that as long as we
are at our planet and ‘they’ come to visit us, we dont need to be woried 😉

    • +ChildOfDarkProphecy1 And every single one of those examples shown viewed
time in a linear fashion, eeking out an existence for today because
tomorrow was uncertain. There is no prescient organism on this planet,
hence the reason it’s flagrantly ridiculous to assume complete
understanding of their intentions and actions to the point of disparaging
      the film over it.

  2. This looks fucking INSANE, dude who directed did Sicario (which is one of
my favorites ever) and the atmosphere, cast and special effects of this
look impressive as hell. The reviews have been glowing so far, gives me
    tons of hope and antipication

  3. Fantastic Movie. But not a movie for….*simple* minded people, if you just
go watch movies to see things go boom, then you’ll hate it. If you actually
watch a movie for the story and all that than you’ll love it.

  4. SPOILERS kind of.

I hate how the aliens said they needed humanity’s help in 3,000 years but
never explained why. Anyone have any ideas?

    • The gift was the language, but to learn it we would have to unite as
humans. The hidden message was to appreciate what you have even if it don’t
      last.

    • AleVids i highly doubt if an alien race can travel through space to earth
im sure we would be the ugly ones because they are more advanced than us.

    • +Kel the Hunter Two things.
1.) Citation for the second statement: “Not to mention the demographics the
movies are received by are more than likely overwhelming white.”

2.) Is it necessary – hell – *beneficial* to imagine relatable protagonists
must predominantly, or even tangentially, be portrayed by those who share
      your race?

    • This is what I say to myself..I really want that neuralizer in Men in Black
so i can watch movies like (inception, predestination, interstellar) and then
erase my memory and watch it all over again .

  5. aaaaaand again the Russians are put in a negative way. jesus christ,
America your f*cking propaganda is getting ridiculous…

    • +Olly Yurievna You obviously didn’t see the movie. The Russian government
was reacting based on wrong information – the same wrong information that
everybody had. Even the U.S. was about to react the same way, which is why
the main character had to disobey orders and go off on her own.

  6. I can’t believe Amy is not included among the nominees for the Oscar… her
performances here AND in nocturnal animals were incredible

    • I thought the same. She touched my heart in this. She is such a gem. But
instead they gave Meryl Streep her hundredth nomination. I liked her speech
too. But these nominations should be about acting.
