    • +Walter Black not really…there is music but its organic. like if someone
is singing in the studio or if they are practicing

    • +Till Wilken …true, I’ve found a grip of good music. Sirius & my 19 yo
      son helps, lol
I’m just saying…ppl that can’t appreciate this series are lost in that
bullshit. This show brings it back 2 the roots of where it all began & the
story is well written. The music is well orchestrated. I mean Nas is apart
of the project. That alone should speak volumes

    • Production of the 12-episode season, the first half of which premieres Aug.
12, went well over the original budget of about $7.5 million per episode
and wound up costing at least $120 million overall. Second half of Season 1
will be aired early 2017.. Episodes all done, just Netflix decided to hold
off on the other half of Season 1 till 2017.

  1. I love how u can tel he combs his hair on the show cuzz mixed people don’t
have afros like that , we need the help of the dreaded open tooth comb

    • When Zeke read hia poem he eluded to the fact his father was a black
american. The picture they show of his mother is a black hispanic (puetro
rican). He is not biracial. He is black. He is a black american with roots
in Puerto Rico. Nationality, Race and ethnicity are three totally different
things that are not interchangeable. His parents race is black, he was born
in the Bronx, NY, North America, so his nationality is American, his mother
was Puetro Rican so his ethnicity is hispanic.

    • +Hilary Clinton that’s what I was thinking too but in the show Ezekiel’s
aunt clearly says he’s black AND Puerto Rican alluding to him being “mixed”.

  2. Finished this in one day and realised it was a huge fucking mistake I just
couldn’t wait I wanted more every episode sucks we gotta wait, Thanks
Netflix for this unique show see yall later in 2017!!

  3. Its a dope show.. for those who are easily distracted, give it a chance,
itll grow on you and you will love it. Trust me.
